Mousesports v North

Mousesports (1.29)

North have made significant strides up the CS:GO ladder. They are a solid, consistent team, capable of upstaging the best teams in the world. However, Mousesports are just that much better in several factors, including depth and class. Frozen and Ropz have been in beast mode in recent times, leading Mousesports up to No. 7 on the world rankings.

The map match-up is favourably on Mousesports’ side. Here’s a detailed breakdown:

  • Dust2: Mousesports (67% win rate in their last 15 maps), North (25% in their last four)
  • Mirage: Mousesports (58% in 12 maps), North (no wins in four)
  • Inferno: Mousesports (67% in 12 maps), North (43% in seven)
  • Nuke: Mousesports (75% in four maps), North (67% in three)
  • Train: Mousesports (86% in seven maps), North (67% in six)

Team Vitality v Invictus Gaming

Correct score (in maps): Team Vitality 2-0

There’s a world between the levels of both these teams. Vitality have played, competed and have also beaten the best teams in the world consistently. Vitality have relied on Zywoo for offensive output, and he has delivered with an astounding efficiency rate of 0.82 kills and 0.61 deaths per round in the last three months. Vitality, ranked five in the world, will be too strong for Invictus, who are lingering outside the top 50.

Renegades v MIBR

MIBR (1.85)

This game is anyone’s pick, as the odds suggest. While there isn’t much that separates these two teams, MIBR have been participating in a few more tournaments than Renegades, which means they’re slightly better drilled for the occasion.

Fer adds plenty of experience to this MIBR team. MIBR also have the better of Renegades in the head-to-head match-up, having beaten them in six of eight maps against each other. MIBR won the previous meeting 16-14 in Mirage, at the Blast Pro Series in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Fnatic v Imperial Esports

Map handicap: Fnatic -1.5 (1.28)

Considering the prowess of Fnatic and Vitality, it might not be a bad option to consider combining straight-maps victories for both in the same slip, giving you Skrilla odds of 1.69. Fnatic have been one of the teams to beat in recent CS:GO tournaments on account of their form and fearlessness. They’ve even breezed past Astralis, the best team in the world, in this recent run of form. Fnatic should cruise to past Imperial without dropping a map.
