Team Secret have announced the signing of the European team, m1x. The acquisition marks Team Secret’s return to Counter-Strike, having previously owned an all-female roster back in 2017. The organization is perhaps most known for its major winning DotA2 roster, featuring players such as Yapz0r and Puppey.

m1x have been on a rise in recent months, with wins against the likes of mousesports, Tricked and HellRaisers on their record — in addition to taking current number one team, Astralis, to overtime on Dust2 in week 4 of ECS.

John Yao, CEO of Team Secret, had the following to say about the acquisition:

“CSGO is a title we’ve been exploring for the past 6 months, and we’re happy to announce an extremely promising young roster to end the year and kick off 2020.

While only having spent a very short time together, this squad has shown the potential to become one of the greats on the scene, and we look forward to putting all of our organization’s resources around them in their development.

I personally can’t wait to see us on the rise! #SecretCSGO”

The team features an unusual mix of nationalities that are not commonly seen on the top level, such as Albania and Greece. The standout players for this team have been the rifling trio of juanflatroo, sinnopsyy and rigoN, who were instrumental in m1x’s wins against mousesports and Tricked in ECS.

The roster is as follows:

  • 🇦🇱 juanflatroo
  • 🇦🇱 sinnopsyy
  • 🇬🇷 anarkez
  • 🇵🇱 tudsoN
  • 🇨🇭 rigoN

Team Secret are currently competing in the Qi Banja Luka 2019: European Qualifier, where they have made playoffs after topping a group consisting of GODSENT, Heretics and HellRaisers.
