G’day Skrilla Community,
Well, 2017 is nearly done and it’s been a big year for both our team and the Skrilla community. We have ticked off a significant number of milestones, including licensing, product launch, partnerships, a token sale and within the next 24 hours our first tokenised Contest, with US beta users! This has us well positioned for 2018. This will be the last update for the year, but rest assured we will be hitting the ground running come the new year!

Exchange Listing

It is unlikely that we will be listed on another exchange between now and the end of 2017. We have been pushing hard to get listed with a specific exchange, however the timing is largely out of our control, with everything requested to be submitted, completed by us. Regardless, all things on this front are still positive, we are in the queue and should be listed early in the new year, before looking at our next exchange for further liquidity. Thank you for your ongoing patience.

US Launch

In the last update we mentioned that we were waiting on the completion of the relevant documentation from our US lawyers to allow us to run free-to-play contests throughout the US. We can confirm this has now been finalised. We will be looking to run our first tokenised free-to play contests with our US beta test cohort within the next 24 hours. If you are interested in being a beta tester in early Jan, please email us at

Our plan for the US is to begin running free-to-play contests into all 50 states early in 2018. Following on from this, we will roll out pay-to-play contests in selected states, where it is legally viable.

SKR Token Integration

On the product front we have completed the first stage of SKR token integration. This will allow verified players to deposit and withdraw SKR in MyEtherWallet and enter Contests to win SKR tokens from the prize pools. In the new year we will continue to focus on improving SKR integration, by making it as seamless as possible for users to deposit or purchase SKR to enter contests and to withdraw /cash out to Bitcoin or USD. ewallet
Embed Live Streams

We have recently embedded live streams within the platform. This means you will be able to watch the matches live within the Skrilla platform, whilst also keeping an eye on how you are performing on the live leaderboard! stream
League of Legends

We are happy to announce we have integrated League of Legends into the platform. League is the second title we have added to Skrilla, joining CS:GO. We will begin to run LoL contests in early 2018.

Dota2 will most likely be the next title added, which should happen early in the new year.
Mobile optimisation

In parallel with advancing the functionality of Skrilla, our developers have also been optimising the platform for mobile. By the end of January we should have a mobile optimised version of Skrilla.

Thank you all for your continual support, we are excited about what’s to come in 2018. The Skrilla team wishes everyone a happy festive season and a sensational new year!

P.S We will be monitoring our telegram and support lines intermittently between Christmas day and New Years day. We will endeavour to respond to any support requests as swiftly as we can during this period but there may be occasional delays.
Best Regards

The Skrilla Team
